MEASURING FOR PROPER COAT SIZING

measuring-size.jpg

Chest measurement– in order to find the right size for a WINTER COAT, you will need to measure your or your child’s chest size. Ask your child to stand up straight up with arms relaxed on the side. Wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your child’s chest and record the result. If you don’t have a tape measure, use a string, marking the distance around and then measure the length with a tape measure. Since kids grow fast, you can add an inch to allow extra room for movement. When in doubt, SIZE UP. Adults will use the same measurements as teens.

Adult Women will use the SAME MEASUREMENTS as above.

Adult Men will use the SAME MEASUREMENTS as above.

The MISSION of Kids Coats focuses on kids ages 0-19 years of age. We cannot guarantee we will have inventory for adults over 20 years of age, but we will try! Adults need to stay warm too. HAVE A COAT TO GIVE? DONATE HERE
