Silent Auction Rules for Ribfest 2024

  1. Online bidding will begin on August 25 and end at 7:00 pm on September 1. You must be 21 to participate in the auction. 

  2. You must register with your name and cell/mobile phone number in-person or by clicking Register for Event at http://qtego.us/qlink/kidscoats when the auction goes live.

  3. Minimum bids and bidding are shown for each individual auction item.

  4. You do not need to be present to win, but must make arrangements before 8pm on September 1 and let us know when you will pick up your items. We are able to meet you anytime after Labor Day at Bier Brewery Carmel.

  5. At the close of the auction, the person with the highest bid will be notified by phone and will be charged for their bid.

  6. You will need to show a photo ID when picking up your item(s). You are  responsible for the safety and security of the item(s) once you have claimed them.

  7. Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly  from Kids Coats Inc., their elected and appointed officials, the event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction. 

  8. For auction items which are services to be performed or items to be ordered: It is the responsibility of the buyer to make arrangements with the donor. 

  9. The auction item value is an estimate of the Fair Market Value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. Kids Coats Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization. Any bid over the value of the item is considered a donation and may be tax deductible.
